The conference registration fee includes breakfasts, luncheon(s), reception, refreshments, and post-conference documentation. Verification for the Government Discount may be required. Payment in full is required for attendance. If payment or proof of payment is not received before the start of the event, our staff will require a credit card guarantee to allow entry. All onsite registrations will be charged an additional $100.

Early Bird Discount — Register by May 16, 2008 to save $300 off your registration fee. The Early Bird Discount may NOT be combined with the Team Discount, Government Discount, or any other promotional offer.
Team Discount — Register 3 attendees and send 1 additional attendee from your organization FREE. All registrations must be paid for at the same time to qualify.
The Team Discount may NOT be combined with the Early Bird Discount or any other promotional offer.
Government Discount — Government attendees qualify for the Team Discount. Promotional offers and the Early Bird Discount cannot be applied to the Government Discount.

Discount Accommodations:
A limited number of rooms has been reserved for Platts 11th Annual Private Power in Central America participants at the InterContinental Miramar Hotel at a rate of USD $170/night, single or double occupancy. The discounted rate will be honored until Saturday, May 10th, 2008 — based on availability (the discount rate will apply only until this date — please review hotel policies below before reserving a room). Cancellations
Individual guests may cancel up to May 10th, 2008 and not be subject to penalties
Cancellations between May 11th and June 7th, 2008 will be subject to one night accommodation penalty
Cancellation received after June 7th, 2008 will be subject to full extend of reserved stay
Modifications
Individual guests may modify their reservation by: arrival date, length of stay and departure date without penalty up to May 10th, 2008
There will be a USD $50.00 change fee for each modification made between May 9th and June 7th, 2008
No changes in reservations (including early check outs or late arrivals) will be allowed after June 7th, 2008 or after client has checked in. 100% of the original dates will be charged plus any other additional dates in the event of early arrivals or extended departures. This clause excludes name changes in reservations.
Substitutions & Cancellations:
Your registration may be transferred to a member of your organization up to 24 hours in advance of the conference. Cancellations must be received in writing on or before May 29, 2008 to be refunded, less a $195 administrative charge. No refunds will be made after this date; however, if you notify Platts of your cancellation in writing prior to the event, the registration fee less the $195 administrative charge can be credited to another Platts conference within 6 months from the date of this conference. Credits must be applied at the time of registration. In case of conference cancellation, Platts liability is limited to refund of the conference registration fee only. Platts reserves the right to alter this program without prior notice.
