industry for more than 25 years in a variety of regulatory, legislative,
and public affairs positions. He was a member of the Electric Reliability
Council of Texas Board of Directors from 1999-2002, serving as vice-chair
and chair. Currently, he is a member of the North American Electric
Reliability Councilıs Reliability Assessment Subcommittee. Hawks holds
a BS degree from the University of Kansas and a masterıs degree in
business administration from George Mason University.
