CurtoDaniel A. Curto is a partner in the Trial Department of McDermott Will & Emery LLPıs Boston office. He has represented energy companies in civil proceedings and in regulatory matters involving the FERC, the CFTC, and various regional system operators.
FusaroPeter C. Fusaro is chairman of energy and environmental risk management consulting firm Global Change Associates in New York. He is the author of eight books, including six on energy and environmental trading, including the New York Times best seller What Went Wrong at Enron. Global Change Associates and Utilipoint have undertaken the first sponsored multiclient study on energy hedge funds, entitled "Hedge Funds Enter the Energy Trading Space." JazayeriPeter Jazayeri is an associate in Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP's Los Angeles office and a member of the Board of Directors for the Western Chapter of the Energy Bar Association. He has counseled power marketers in merchant energy restructurings and provided guidance on market disruptions, liquidations, and master agreement setoffs. In addition, he defends trading firms against allegations of market manipulation and fraud.
EzicksonDoron F. Ezickson is a partner in the Trial Department and partner-in-charge of McDermott Will & Emery LLP's Boston office. He is co-chair of the firmıs Energy Practice Group and serves on the firmıs Management Committee. His energy practice involves a wide array of federal and state regulatory issues and litigation relating to the development and operation of the wholesale and retail electric markets.
HawksJack Hawks is vice president of public affairs and planning for the Electric Power Supply Association. He has worked in the energy industry for more than 25 years in a variety of regulatory, legislative, and public affairs positions. He was a member of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas Board of Directors from 1999-2002, serving as vice-chair and chair. Currently, he is a member of the North American Electric Reliability Councilıs Reliability Assessment Subcommittee. Hawks holds a BS degree from the University of Kansas and a masterıs degree in business administration from George Mason University.
RoseKevin R. Rose, a principal and cofounder of Ensight Advisors, an independent energy management consulting practice, has over 21 years of professional achievements in the energy industry. His domestic and international career includes knowledge of and experience in strategic business planning, risk/credit management, and trading controls, including enterprise exposure management, physical and financial trading of energy commodities, and risk/energy management systems (front, mid, and back office) for electric and gas (wholesale and retail) operations. He has acted as counsel to major power marketers in numerous state and federal court actions, at both the trial and appellate level, arising out of Californiaıs energy crisis, related bankruptcy proceedings, various state and federal administrative agency investigations, and before the California PUC and FERC.
