Symbol Guide

The enhanced Symbol Guide returns more data about the requested security including instrument type, exchange, description and CUSIP or ISIN.

With the addition of international markets, the universe of data has grown exponentially. By default, Platts on the Net, Powered by RealTick® will display all the data it has about the requested security - regardless of the user's permission. An icon next to the ticker symbol denotes data the user does not have permission to access. If the user does not want to display this data, they may uncheck the Show NP Data box. To further define a search, filter by exchange, instrument type, or - if using chain search - filter by session.

Navigating search results is easy too; simply click on any field in the display portion of the symbol guide and use the mouse wheel to quickly scroll through the list of data, results may be sorted by clicking the desired column header, and finally columns may be resized, as well as the entire Symbol Guide window.
