Platts Market on Close (MOC) assessment process has served the market well for the last decade, fostering transparency and integrity.

With the increase in MOC participation and activity, a more powerful means is required to provide the market with more efficiency, a higher level of transparency and a faster way of communicating.

To meet that challenge, we will be introducing Platts Editorial Window ("eWindow"). eWindow facilitates the market by combining Platts MOC methodology with state of the art technology customized for Platts and licensed from the InterContinental Exchange (ICE).

By providing an easy-to-use interface, Platts eWindow allows Platts Global Alert customers to clearly view all bids and offers in the MOC window; and submit and confirm offers at the click of the mouse.

This new electronic system will enable Platts Editors to collect data on market activity quickly and accurately, enhance the reliability of the end of day price assessments, and improve the MOC user experience.
