European organization for power transmission system operators Entso-e has invited independent developers to submit third party electricity infrastructure applications for inclusion in its 2014 10-Year Network Development plan. Developers should submit applications by March 1. Under the EU's third package of energy market reforms, Entso-e and its natural gas counterpart Entsog, have to publish 10-year network development plans every two years, highlighting investment priorities for upgrading and maintaining EU power grids. Entso-e expects to open an eight-week public consultation in March 2014 on the plan.
