Most Asian suppliers were offering at $11.40-11.60/lb CIF main port Asia or not offering at all, with the latter due to higher price expectations and some participants being away from the market due to the upcoming Lunar New Year holidays which start February 10.

The Platts moly oxide daily dealer price closed at $11.20-11.40/lb Thursday, compared with $11.30-11.45/lb Wednesday, after deals were reported at $11.20-11.25/lb in-warehouse Rotterdam.
