Russia's gas output fell 4.2% year on year to 57.652 Bcm in November, Russia's Prime news agency said Monday, citing preliminary data by the Central Dispatching Unit, part of the country's energy ministry. Of the total, Gazprom's production in November decreased 6.3% year on year to 42.54 Bcm, it said. Gas exports from Russia totaled 14.284 Bcm in November, down 13.8% year on year, the report said. In the first 11 months of the year, Russia's gas production totaled 589.314 Bcm, down 3% year on year. Of the total, Gazprom's gas production fell 6.2% year on year to 430.036 Bcm, while Russia's biggest independent gas producer Novatek raised gas output by 6.2% to 46.26 Bcm. Total gas production by oil companies amounted to 61.37 Bcm in January through November, up 6.07%, according to the report. Exports of Russian gas in the 11-month period fell 7.3% to 165.086 Bcm. The figure includes pipeline gas supplies to Europe at 98.959 Bcm, down 8% year on year, and to the former Soviet republics at 52.998 Bcm, down 12.5% year on year.
