Sinopec raises East China OX ex-works price by 1.8% to Yuan 11,100/mt

China Petroleum and Chemical Corp., or Sinopec, raised its ex-works price of orthoxylene in East China by 1.8% effective Tuesday, industry sources said Thursday.

Yangzi-BASF and Sinopec Zhenhai -- the company's subsidiaries in East China -- raised their ex-works OX price to Yuan 11,100/mt, up Yuan 200/mt, sources said. The offer is equivalent to $1,476/mt on an import parity basis.

Sinopec last adjusted its ex-works price of OX in East China on December 10, increasing it by Yuan 400/mt to Yuan 10,900/mt.
