Russian commercial ports handled 1.8% less crude and oil products in January and February compared to the same two months in 2010, the Association of Russian Commercial Seaports said Monday. Russian ports handled 47.8 million mt of liquid bulk in January and February of which 31.8 million mt was crude oil, down 4.1% on the year. Oil products amounted to 15.8 million mt, up 3.5%. Exports of ESPO crude oil via the pipeline to Russia's Kozmino port on the Pacific coast started in January last year. The southern ports in the Black Sea handled 19 million mt of oil and oil products, 1% down on the year.
