Platts Western Europe Delivered was assessed unchanged on the week at Eur495/mt Aug 14.
While there were some sources who said market sentiment had shifted to at least the Eur500/mt level, indications for either last trades or fair value remained below this price, with the new campaign prices said to be an accurate indication of what remains of the 2014-15 crop as it draws to a conclusion.
Platts Mediterranean Delivered assessment was assessed unchanged on the week at Eur485/mt.

The assessment was considered a fair reflection of Spain Delivered, which was last heard traded at Eur485/mt and with prices in the region heard from Eur475/mt to Eur495/mt.
Northern Italy Delivered was still considered fair at Eur450/mt, after a last trading for new crop at that level in July.
Southern Italy is valued at a Eur50/mt premium to the north at Eur500/mt, taking into account the freight rate between the two regions.
