The chart above shows the daily end-of-day Platts Global Ethylene Price Index price in red and also displays the 20-day moving average in blue. Ethylene prices fell 7% in April to $1,248 per metric tons (/mt). This was down from $1,349/mt in March. The price drop was attributed to lower raw input naphtha costs.
