There's more demand than ever for electric power straining the Electric Reliability Council of Texas grid, and other US power markets are also seeing shifts. Kassia Micek and Eric Wieser, with the Platts North American power pricing team, talk about the all-time records set in ERCOT as temperatures are forecast above 100 degrees across most of the state for the next several weeks and how prices are being impacted, as well as how drought, natural gas and heat rates are affecting other markets across the country.
