US power producers brace for summer demand

The official start of summer is just around the corner, and US electric power markets have been seeing increased demand as the mercury rises. Platts North American power pricing team members Eric Wieser and Kassia Micek lay out what the summer could hold for the PJM Interconnection, Electric Reliability Council of Texas, the California ISO, including power price spikes, capacity and generation mixes.
