US corn prices driven by weather, exports up to compensate for Brazil

Sophie Byron , Americas agriculture managing editor, and Sergio Alvarado, price reporter for Americas grains, are back from the Global Grains North Americas conference and have an update on the 2016/2017 season, from corn exports from the US and Brazil to weather impact on yields. A La Niña situation often correlates with higher price volatility and production forecasts are being updated; Byron and Alvarado compare numbers and look ahead to possible changes in the coming months.
