• Advanced search capability offers numerous options to help make your searches more precise and to help you receive more useful results. Customers can filter by service, topic codes, keywords and date. More importantly, users can apply Boolean search logic.
• The EMIS pay-per-view capability allows you to pay for only the content you access, keeping track of charges as you go.
• Using My View, you can create custom layouts or desktops to store one or more of your favorite filtered searches (pages or reports) for easy recall. EMIS also provides tools to easily add a new search to a pre-existing or new layout.
• EMIS Alerts is designed to allow you to set up automatic recurring delivery of textual content directly to your e-mail box as it is published by Platts. You can set up the alert once and continue to receive the information as it updates.
• Portability -- EMIS is a browser-based platform for which results can be accessed using most common browser software over the public internet.
• Price Data tab -- EMIS includes a database of Platts proprietary assessments and other common fundamental data, e.g. futures closes. You can quickly and efficiently execute ad hoc data queries using available tools to help you search available instruments; by symbol or keyword or using a Symbol Search Tree. Once the desired instrument is located results may be viewed on-screen or exported to popular spreadsheet software.
• My Account tab lets you check and edit information related to your EMIS 2.0 account, including: validating subscription levels, managing your password and viewing pay-per-view charges in real-time.
