More LNG outflows support US as net gas exporter, but position is tenuous

Record-setting LNG exports in November were just enough to make the US a net exporter of natural gas for the first time ever, driven by profit margins to both Europe and Asia. While US LNG netbacks reached record highs, feedgas deliveries also climbed. J. Robinson evaluates the profits to be had and shares a Platts Analytics forecast for exports.
