Works cut Norway's Troll natural gas field flow by 7.5 mil cu m/d: Gassco

Brussels (Platts)--12 Feb 2018 536 am EST/1036 GMT

Flows from Norway's giant Troll natural gas field are cut by 7.5 million cubic meters Monday because of corrective maintenance, Norwegian gas transmission system operator Gassco said Monday.

  • Flows cut since Saturday by corrective maintenance
  • Return to full flows expected Tuesday

Gassco notified the work on Friday, with flows cut by 8.5 million cu m/d on Saturday and Sunday.

It expects full flows to return on Tuesday.

The Troll field feeds gas into the Kollsnes gas processing plant, along with gas from the Kvitebjorn and Visund fields.

Dry gas from Kollsnes is exported via Statpipe, Zeepipe, Europipe I and Franpipe to northwest European markets.
