UK's North Morecambe natural gas terminal unavailable for 24 hours

London (Platts)--10 Nov 2017 935 am EST/1435 GMT

The UK's North Morecambe gas subterminal will be unavailable for 24 hours, operator Centrica said in a REMIT message Friday.

  • Outage to last until Saturday morning
  • Unavailable capacity of 7.7 mil cu m/d

The full 7.7 million cu m/d capacity of the plant will be unavailable until Saturday morning at 0600 GMT due to a technical process issue.

National Grid figures showed that flows into the UK National Transmission System via the Barrow South receiving terminal, where gas from North Morecambe lands, were at zero Friday.

UK natural gas production nominations were at 108 million cu m Friday, according to Platts Analytics' Eclipse Energy.
