Featuring Mark Wiggett

November 26, 2014 07:00:00 EST (6:29 mins)

Mark Wiggett, editor for Platts Global Market Outlook, assesses the recent downward movement of key steel raw material prices in October and into November. Scrap prices in Turkey, Asia and the US fell sharply into early November, following the drop in iron ore levels; iron ore prices themselves dropped towards $70/dmt in mid-November; and longs prices in Asia and Europe have also fallen in October.
