Will Iran's crude find homes in a much changed oil landscape?

With Beth Evans, Stuart Elliott, and Margaret McQuaile

July 29, 2015 14:34:08 EST (10:20)

As Iran looks to a post-sanctions world in which it is once again free to sell its crude, Beth Evans, Stuart Elliott, and Margaret McQuaile ask whether, in the face of up to 3 million b/d of oil oversupply, they'll be a place for Iranian product. They debate just how much investment in their upstream infrastructure Iran will attract from western oil majors, given the latest raft of cost cutting measures announced by the likes of BP. Also, armed with information from Platts Global VLCC tracker, they analyse ship movements to see if any pre-sanctions leaking of oil cargoes is taking place from Iranian ports.
