Middle East starts to emerge as new LNG demand center

With Luke Stobbart

July 07, 2015 00:10:48 EST (6:05)

In the first half of 2015, LNG deliveries to North Asia - a traditionally big market for LNG - fell off by about 6% from the same period last year due to milder temperatures in the area. Global LNG supply, on the other hand, is expected to keep growing over the near term. In this video, Luke Stobbart looks at the Middle East's potential to absorb the excess LNG supply. Will the region's appetite for LNG be enough to provide support to the market?
