Russia leads world wheat exports and sets the tone for the prices for the other Black Sea origins, and every spring in the grains market talk intensifies around new crop expectations in the Northern hemisphere. Carry-over stocks, harvest forecasts and farmers' willingness to sell are all burning topics, and these collective expectations are mirrored in the pricing for wheat for July-August delivery on FOB.
