Just hours before the end of 2015, the first shipment of US crude oil set sail for the first time in decades, despite what some have said are dubious economics. Jeff Mower explains how just considering the WTI/Brent spread doesn't give a full picture of a global crude oil market, though, and what other factors play into deciding whether arbitrage economics will be favorable as the US enters the wider market.
