Brazil has announced increased taxes for both ethanol and gasoline, and while the final decision remains uncertain, there have been immediate price impacts. Sophie Byron talks with Tim Worledge and recaps the news for both hydrous and anhydrous ethanol and prices at the pump. They also touch on demand, imports and exports, sugar and emissions to consider the Brazilian biofuels landscape in the near and medium term.
